The Pentecost weekend with our Chief Apostle is quickly approaching. While the divine service is the highlight of our weekend together, we are also looking forward to the day before, Saturday, May 19th. For the first time, Saturday has planned activities that offer the opportunity for us to come together. Below is a schedule of everything that will be happening on that day. Please join us at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge, VA for this day of fellowship, learning, and food!
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
For those who pre-registered, this rehearsal is with the full choir for the divine service on Pentecost. If you have any questions, please talk to your regional choir director.
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
An exhibition will have various booths set up displaying resources that are now available to the congregations in the USA district. Each booth will have a representative from the Church admin or Work Groups to answer any questions you may have and to explain more about what the Church offers to equip our members and congregations. Some of the booths will include information on FaithArc, re Charitable Ministry, Spiritual Gifts, Giving, and the You’re home resources.
3:45 pm – 4:45 pm
Each of these short talks, presented by visiting ministers, will focus on different spiritual topics.
• 3:45 pm – English
• 4:00 pm – French/English
• 4:15 pm – Spanish
• 4:30 pm – Translated from German into English
11:00 am – 3:30 pm
For those who are arriving early for choir rehearsal or are waiting for the exhibition to open, grab lunch from local food trucks, which will be parked outside the Chapel. Food trucks will also be available on Sunday after the divine service, so we can continue in fellowship with each other.
We encourage you to join us on this day!
For the 2018 Pentecost weekend of May 19-20, all are invited from the NAC USA district, no matter what country you live in, no matter what age you are, no matter what language you speak.

The Hylton Memorial Chapel, located at 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, Virginia 22192, has been selected as the venue for the Pentecost Divine Service with Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider.
Every year, millions of New Apostolic members from all over the world experience the divine service of Pentecost via transmission. After 9 years, it will again be conducted live in the United States, this year, in Washington D.C. during the weekend of May 19-20, 2018.
Pentecost is a feast that has its roots in the Jewish feast of thanksgiving. Later, it was recognized as the day that marked the renewal of the covenant between God and the Israelites, and the day to commemorate when Moses received the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. After Christ’s Ascension, Pentecost was known as the day God’s promises were fulfilled: His Church was established; the Holy Spirit – the Helper – dwelt within each one of the believers, providing them with what they would need to fulfill their calling; and the apostle ministry was equipped to be ambassadors of Jesus Christ among all nations and point the congregation towards His return.
