The Pentecost weekend with our Chief Apostle is quickly approaching. While the divine service is the highlight of our weekend together, we are also looking forward to the day before, Saturday, May 19th. For the first time, Saturday has planned activities that offer the opportunity for us to come together. Below is a schedule of everything that will be happening on that day. Please join us at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge, VA for this day of fellowship, learning, and food!

Choir Rehearsal
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

For those who pre-registered, this rehearsal is with the full choir for the divine service on Pentecost. If you have any questions, please talk to your regional choir director.

Exhibition
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

An exhibition will have various booths set up displaying resources that are now available to the congregations in the USA district. Each booth will have a representative from the Church admin or Work Groups to answer any questions you may have and to explain more about what the Church offers to equip our members and congregations. Some of the booths will include information on FaithArc, re Charitable Ministry, Spiritual Gifts, Prepare & Enrich, NAC-USA Development Institute (NDI)Giving, and the You’re home resources.

NAC Talks
3:45 pm – 4:45 pm

Each of these short talks, presented by visiting ministers, will focus on different spiritual topics.

     • 3:45 - 4:00 pm – Work with What You Have by District Apostle Kriel (English)
     • 4:00 - 4:15 pm – NAC Life in the Congo: Urban vs. Rural by District Apostle Deppner (French/English)
     • 4:15 - 4:30 pm – Brazil and Bolivia: Plurality in the Heights and Enormous Distances by District Apostle Montes de Oca (Spanish)
     • 4:30 - 4:45 pm – The Life and Times in the First Church by Evangelist Kiefer (translated from German into English)

Food trucks
11:00 am – 3:30 pm

For those who are arriving early for choir rehearsal or are waiting for the exhibition to open, grab lunch from local food trucks, which will be selling food outside the Chapel. Food trucks will also be available on Sunday after the divine service for people to purchase lunch and continue in fellowship with each other.

We encourage you to join us on this day!
